Possible kinds of errors in the KEY records table and actions on their elimination

The given section is intended for administrators of agencies or airlines

At saving of the data from KEY records table into UTS Register 6 can be received the following error messages:

>>> ERROR: EMPTY KEY RECORDS LIST. Saving is forbidden

>>> ERROR: DUPLICATE KEY VALUE:  KEY1. THIS KEY USED BY OTHER USER. Saving is forbidden

>>> ERROR: SITA USER ID:  USER1 (UN)  OWNED BY OTHER USER. Saving is forbidden

>>> ERROR: INCORRECT KEY VALUE:  KEY1. THIS SHARED KEY WAS RESERVED FOR ALL USERS. Saving is forbidden

>>> ERROR: INCORRECT SITA USER ID:  USER1 (UN). THIS SHARED SITA USER ID WAS RESERVED FOR ALL USERS. Saving is forbidden

>>> ERROR: DUPLICATE KEY NAME:  KEY1 OR DUPLICATE AIRLINE: UN, SITA USERID: USER1. Saving is forbidden

>>> ERROR: EMPTY KEY RECORDS LIST. Saving is forbidden

The list of records for KEY records page is empty.

Problem elimination

Enter record to KEY records page and repeat saving  by click on Save to Register button.

>>> ERROR: DUPLICATE KEY VALUE:  KEY1. THIS KEY USED BY OTHER USER. Saving is forbidden

Attempt to use and save not unique value of a KEY. The KEY value should be unique in the UTS Register database for all agencies.

Problem elimination

Rename a not unique key into any other value which will be unique.

For it make following: 

• Select the necessary record in the KEY records page 
• Click on Rename button
• Enter new KEY value - for example: YSKDT4LA.  The KEY value is supposed from 1 up to 12 characters or digits
• Click on Rename button for renaming or Cancel button

Selected KEY value will be renamed in the KEY records table and for all SN-PID records in which it was used. After renaming a key, repeat saving operation.

>>> ERROR: SITA USER ID:  USER1 (UN)  OWNED BY OTHER USER. Saving is forbidden

Attempt to use and save KEY record with not unique username SITA USER ID (USER1). Username ( USER1 in error message) is used and owned by other agency.

Problem elimination

• Contact with agency administrator, who is owner of SITA_USER_ID, specified in the error message. The owner is that agency at which you received this SITA USER ID.
• receive from owner of SITA USER ID the value of KEY
• delete record from KEY records page, in which the erroneous SITA USER ID is used
• enter new KEY value in the SN-PID records page for ALL appropriate PIDs
• save data for the KEY records  and SN-PID records pages

1. >>> ERROR: INCORRECT KEY VALUE:  KEY1. THIS SHARED KEY WAS RESERVED FOR ALL USERS. Saving is forbidden

or:

2. >>> ERROR: INCORRECT SITA USER ID:  USER1 (UN). THIS SHARED SITA USER ID WAS RESERVED FOR ALL USERS. Saving is forbidden

These two messages  appear at attempt to save the data in the UTS Register 6 in the following cases:

1. the KEY (KEY1) is registered for reserved using (in the message - KEY1)

2. SITA USER ID (Airline) is registered for reserved using for all users (in the message USER1 (UN).

Problem elimination

• delete record in the  KEY records page for which it is used reserved KEY value or reserved combination Airline, SITA USER ID values . It is impossible to use the reserved values in the KEY records page.
• in the SN-PID records page, enter reserved KEY value in the KEY field for appropriate PID
• save data for  KEY records  and SN-PID records pages

>>> ERROR: DUPLICATE KEY NAME:  KEY1 OR DUPLICATE AIRLINE: UN, SITA USERID: USER1. Saving is forbidden

Attempt to save duplicated  KEY values or duplicated Airline, SITA USER ID combinations values.

Usually such message is given out in a case when in two or more records in the KEY records  page, with the specified parameters are duplicated.

Problem elimination

Check records in the KEY records page on presence of duplicates in fields KEY and SITA USER ID.  For simplification use sorting on KEY or SITA USER ID fields. Sorting according a field is caused by click on heading of a column in the KEY Records table.
