through serial ports COM1-COM4;
through parallel ports LPT1-LPT4;
through network printers;
For printing, you can use any Epson compatible printers, which provide necessary printing quality. For example, Oki-390FB, Star-7211, Texas Instruments/Omni/Model 895/895e (TI 895) and so on. You can use native driver or Generic / Text Only driver as printers drivers . Remember, that data format for a printer driver should be installed as RAW (it is set in the properties of the Windows printing driver). See Texas Instruments TI-895 setup.
UTS Access supports many copy of tickets mask, which were printed out. At any time you can repeat printing or view the ticket. For it open menu File -> Auto-Ticket & Blanks from UTS Access.
The scheme of ticket printing in the UTS Access program:
After command of preparation ticket (TPN command) is typed, UTS Access session with PCPCM PID-type, receive ticket mask. Ticket mask will be written down into the Log file and into ..\Bin\Tickets\ directory and printed out on TKT-printer. If at this time PCPCM session is not open, then ticket mask will arrive to the session when it will be open at next time. In this case, after opening PCPCM session, the ticket will arrive to the session in during 30 seconds approximately.
After reception of the ticket, PCPCM session write ticket mask to Log file and into folder ..\Bin\Tickets\ as text file. Ticket file name equal ticket number in the Gabriel system. This tickets will be enabled later from menu File -> Auto-Ticket & Blanks
After that, ticket mask will be printed.
UTS Access send acknowledgement to the Gabriel system. Gabriel deletes a ticket mask from Gabriel TKT-queue after reception acknowledgement.
If TKT session printer driver was selected as NONE, then ticket does not printed.
This scheme guarantees tickets reception, storage and printing. In any case, tickets are saved on the disk and they can be printed out repeatedly.
The Gabriel system printer PID (or PRN session in the UTS Access program) should be configured as Device type = UVTP in the Gabriel. For testing, type Gabriel command in the terminal session: COMS:TELCON/PID 20138, where 20138 is PID for system printer (HARDCOPY).
The Gabriel PCPCM PID (or PCPCM session in the UTS Access program) should be configured as Device type = PCPC in the Gabriel. For testing, type Gabriel command in the terminal session: COMS:TELCON/PID 20138, where 20138 is PID for PCPCM session.
